The SSL 4K G Channel Strip plug-in accurately recreates the SSL 4000 G Series console, introduced in 1987. While the dynamics modules on the E and G series consoles were nearly identical, the G Series is known for its softer, more gentle EQ than the E Series thanks to the 292 or 383 'G-EQ' circuitry. Features Pink and Orange knob EQ modes, delivering balanced musical sound or Pultec-style warm low-end. The G Series EQ uses steeper filter slopes and incorporates a variable proportional-Q design, which increases the Q value the more you boost or cut the signal, providing smooth, refined and polished sound ideal for modern production.
